Robins’ story. We believe

This was Peters' second round with this ostomy stuff. Ten years previously
Peter had a colostomy which had been successfully reversed after two years.
Now for the rest of the story: Peter was a businessman involved in the retail
and manufacturing sector, before his ileostomy in 1999. When Peter entered the
hospital in 1999, he did not know the ride he was in for. Six months later
weighting about half his original weight, barely 98 pounds and requiring help
to walk, Peter left the hospital .

Peter, like most new people with an ostomy, upon being
released from the hospital naturally though that his neighborhood drugstore
would be more than capable to look after all his information and supply needs. WRONG!
Peter soon discovered, that nobody really had a good handle on what people
living with an ostomy really needed. Like all new ostomates Peter tried
everything that everybody thought he needed. Frustrated by it all, Peter set
out to solve this problem, he gathered all and every bit of information and
knowledge that he could muster, digested it, and soon discovered that he was
being recognized, as the neighborhood expert. Why even
doctors were calling him to help console their patients who were new to this
ostomy stuff, and needed some moral support and coaching. Peter helped, but
knew he could do more and possible make a living at the same time. That
set the seeds for oZie Mate Surgical supplies. You see, Peter had
discovered that people with an ostomy liked dealing with other people who had
an ostomy, comradeship! To this end, Peter started buying small quantities
of ostomy supplies to supply various people that he had become friends with.
As time went on, word spread and soon Peter was in business. After about a
year he incorporated oZie Mate Surgical Supplies Ltd. and his business
continues to grow. Now for the interesting part, Best Buy Medical Supplies
